Community Engagement

Handmarc is committed to engagement in the local community. Our charitable giving program provides funds for non-profits that address locally unmet needs in Mercer County. We also donate skills and energy to their fund-raising activities.

PEI Kids

Handmarc is pleased to support PEI Kids, a Mercer County organization that provides child abuse prevention and intervention services. PEI Kids is dedicated to promoting and maintaining a safe environment for all children. PEI Kids works with the child, family, and caregiver to provide prevention, intervention, and advocacy programs regarding personal safety, sexual abuse, and the overall well-being of the child.

Prevention education services raise awareness of the issues and equips children through workshops to recognize and avoid dangers. It has programs to educate adults in how to recognize the signs of sexual abuse, bullying and violence, and how to respond. Intervention programs provide counseling for sexually abused children, and help juvenile offenders and at-risk youth acquire violence avoidance and conflict resolution skills, and reduce the danger to themselves and the community.

Handmarc is proud to support the valuable work of PEI Kids and participate in the organization of fund-raising events.
